War Wordle — Guess the Battle, One Puzzle a Day

War Wordle is the daily battle-guessing game at WarAtlas. Same idea as Wordle — one puzzle a day, everybody gets the same one, share your result without spoiling it — except instead of a five-letter word you're placing a real historical battle on a world map.

How a round works

• Three real battles per day, the same three for every player, refreshed at midnight UTC
• You get the battle's name; you drop a pin where you think it happened
• Three guesses each — miss once and the year is revealed, miss twice and you get the conflict and the region
• Scoring is distance-based — 1,000 points inside 50 km, down to 50 for a wild miss
• Using your second guess costs 50 points, your third costs 100 — so a confident first pin is worth the most
• Streaks carry day to day, and streak freezes are earned as you go — one at 7 days, two more at 30, three at 100
• Emoji share card, spoiler-free by design
